| I found out today that Michael got fired! River Club is so much bullsh*t! I didn't like it when I worked there, so I know Michael will be way better off working somewhere else. It's a low-paying, low-respect job and there's so much red tape that you can't have an opinion. So...anyway....I've been jobless since the middle of July, but I'm going to start working for the Athens Chamber of Commerce soon and I'm applying to The Summit Agency tomorrow....we'll see what happens. I just went to St. Thomas so I don't have much money....AND I think I'm going to Vegas for New Year's Eve, so I need even more money. So....a job would help!!!
About my trip to St. Thomas -- I went with Jamie. It was so fun! We spent four days down in the Virgin Islands! We did lots of sight seeing and laying out! We went to a golf course that had two holes right on the Atlantic Ocean! There was a cliff and water straight down! SCARY! We also went to the top of the mountain there on a tram. That was really scary too! It was so high! And you drive on the wrong side of the road there too! We also went to Coral World and saw lots of fish and sharks and turtle and lots of other cool things. Next time I post, I should have a link to a website to look at them! How exciting! Anyway....
About other things -- I'm starting to do my letters of recommendation for grad school. It feels like that process will never end! And....
About my birthday -- I had a really bad day, so I just got really drunk and went to the Gavin DeGraw concert....so it wasn't too bad. More to come! | | |

| Before I get to the juicy stuff...I need to get down to some business. These are my pictures for the Jones Soda Label contest!!!! Vote for them....high numbers please. Trust me, it's worth it! These pictures are soooo good. And just think, you can say you know the most awsome soda label diva of all time!
Now....I'll tell you all about the trip from HELL! I went to Hawaii last week...I was supposed to be there for four days, so I figured it was worth the trip. Well....I apparently was wrong! I had a layover (no jokes please) in L.A. and then I was on to Maui. Oh wait...nevermind...I actually got kicked off the plane only to have to wait 24 hours for the next flight! AHHHHH! I was having a complete breakdown in the middle of the L.A. airport! I would have been fine if I hadn't been flying ALL ALONE! I was so upset! I didn't know what to do...I WAS STRANDED! So anyway...I eventually got there only to have a horrible cold the entire time. So, basically, the only time I REALLY enjoyed was when I was sitting at the beach, laying out by myself. It was very peaceful. I just kicked back and read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I definitely recommend it, but just don't read the last chapter, because it sucks and has nothing to do with the story! It made me kind of bitter. Anyway, I just took the GRE today and sucked it up!!!! But I'll save that rant 'til I think I may be able to talk more objectively rather than bitterly about it. Bye!
One last thing, the picture on my page is of me, Marcia, and the hottest Weather Channel meteorologist ever! He came to UGA to speak and me and Marcia just had to get a photo op! I hope you enjoy the picture as much as I do! | | |

Hey Everyone!!! I finally got a xanga page....after a year of
Michael telling me to get one. Well, it seems like there are a
lot of things going on right now. I'm leaving for a family
vacation to Hawaii this Saturday. It kinda sucks cause I'll be
studying for the GRE the entire time I'm there. Hopefully I'll do
well on the test...I didn't know I was taking it til about a week ago
and I'm taking it on Oct. 14th...so I better get on it.
I'm excited that we have a kitty this week! She's a little Sh*t,
though. She's always going crazy and scratching me! It's so
cute...everytime Katie comes over, I say,"Look, there's your
momma!" and she'll go running to her! Mazie is so
cute! Anyway I'm off to study and to make waffles...more later.
